Who is a urogynecologist:
A Urogynecologist (also known Pelvic Reconstructive Surgeon) is a physician who specializes in treatment of pelvic floor disorders. The pelvic floor structures include the muscles and nerves of the pelvis and well as the pelvic organs like the bladder, uterus, vagina, and the rectum. Most urogynecologist complete residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology and then complete a specialized fellowship in urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery.
Conditions we treat
* Urinary incontinence - Leakage or dripping of urine without bladder control
* Overactive bladder -frequent urination and a strong desire to urinate often
* Excessive nighttime urination
* Voiding difficulty
* Frequent urinary tract infections
* Dryness of the vagina and pain
